Ping G430 Hybrid
We’ve loaded the G430 with new innovations like Carbonfly Wrap to give you the added ball speed, distance and green-holding stopping power you need to take on any approach. Our proven technologies Facewrap and Spinsistency are also here, and a tungsten backweight to ensure forgiveness. Available 2H thru 7H.
Carbonfly Wrap
Carbonfly Wrap, an ultra-thin lightweight composite crown, wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt. Weight savings are reallocated to lower the CG and increase ball speed and the MOI (forgiveness). The composite also plays a role in the pleasing sound.
Facewrap Technology
The thin, high-strength maraging steel face wraps into the sole and crown to increase flexing and generate faster ball speed with a higher launch for longer carries.
Spinsistency
A variable roll radius creates less loft low on the face to improve performance (especially on thin shots) by reducing spin to increase ball speed for added distance from the maraging steel face.
Adjust Loft, Lie
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customize your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.
Trajectory Tuning Chart
The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (3° flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.
G430 High Launch (HL)
A 5.5-gram backweight, PING Alta Quick shaft, and 41-gram Lamkin UTx LIte grip make up the lighter HL build so players with slower swing speeds can generate more clubhead speed to produce faster ball velocity and higher launch. Available in 3H-7H.
PING-Engineered Shafts
Our proprietary PING Alta CB Black delivers a mid-high to high trajectory, the PING Tour 2.0 Chrome offers low to mid launch.
Optional Shafts
The Project X Hzrdus Smoke Red RDX delivers mid launch and mid spin, the Mitsubishi Kai’Li White produces low launch and low spin.
Specifications
Notes
- These are design specifications that may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
- Standard swingweight for the High Launch (HL) build is C7.
- The HL build is available in the 3H-7H.
- Lie angle is an average of the five adjustable loft positions indicated on the hosel.
- Achievable swingweights depend on shaft, length and grip combinations.
- Available in left- and right-handed models.
